hey guys, i blew something in the electrical system while trying to pull up a code in a 98 Accord V6 (i know i know
on me x 1000)
anyways the problem is i don't know what it is now.
i replaced the main relay and still theres no priming.
the weird thing is i don't get the CEL when the accessories is on. any chance i blew the ECU? i'm hoping not but the car cranks and almost "beats" repeatedly. im pretty sure its fuel related since i'm not hearing the pump prime but is there a fuse for this or something.
i'd really apreciate any help. thanks in advanced

i jumped the code (the right way this time) and the abs light blinked 8 long 1 short. does anyone have any idea what a code 81 is?????????
First off, do you have a Helms manual or at least a Haynes? Follow the wiring for the fuel pump and check everything you see. If you're good with a multimeter you'll be able to rule out every relay, fuse, and strip of wiring that could be bad. That's the first step.

Code 8-1, clear it and see if it comes back.
