I was really looking forward to seeing those cars again. I didn't realize til a friend asked if I was going that the weekend of the NGP is the same weekend we race under the lights at Lowes. I'll always opt for driving over watching, but still ...

Oh, and for all you HC guys heading to Lowes that weekend, unless they changed something, the infield is pretty dark at night. I was there on an ALMS weekend, and the infield wasn't spectacularly lit. Maybe the big lights weren't on or something. I don't remember. Soooo, use clear tape on your lights, because you just might need them.

Well, it can't be as bad as Summit Point during the 12 hour. That place is a whole new kinda dark.

Just how much lighting is there going to be? If there isn't much, then we may need add on lights, because you outrun your highbeams quite quickly.

I know there is *some* lighting in the infield, but not much. I plan to use the stock lighting as I'm hoping some ambient light from the high banks will help.

 

Do you know if NASA supplementals will allow for additional lights at this event?
