how do you tell which springs go on the front and which go on the rear??????

how do you tell which springs go on the front and which go on the rear??????
i got some springs 1.9 in front and 1.7 in the rear... how do i tell which go where? would the shortest spring go in the front?

First two springs are for the rear. You can tell that the coil is much closer together then the front. Thats what I go by.

</TD></TR></TABLE>Thats not always right. I thought the same way till I called the maufactor of my springs just to make sure I was right...I was wrong. Your better off just calling them and asking.
