WhichStock Springs are for the front and which for the Rear?
In this pick which springs are for the front and which for the rear? I have put the ones on the left on the front and the ones on the right on the rear... btu it seems like my car is setting real high in the front... did I put them on wrong? I seems the ones on the right would not be enough for the front, but I guess I could be wrong...

Are you sure? I thought the longer springs went in front.

Tighter coils go in the front. The larger (less stiff) springs are for the rear...
EDIT: If you put the rears on the front, then the rear would be super low, not super high.

I put the ones on the left in the front, and the ones on the right of the picture in the rear, my front seems to be way high , and the rear seems to be ok to me....

FRONT SHOCK----
REAR SHOCK
I'm pretty sure you got it right. You can't judge spring rate by length only. If you notice the longer springs are also thicker, which might make them stiffer than the shorter ones....

That's how it's supossed to be then. I promise if you swap them you're going to be kicking yourself. The fronts going to be practically on the ground and the rears going to be sky high.

word. big on the front.
the rear spring rates are puny. something like 140lb/in fronts are about 250

Thats what I though too but after loking at my car I am still not sure.. I have it lowerd for three years so I guess it could just be me, however it looks like the engine is not in the car, I pulled up next a to del sol s and it did not sit like my car at all
pics below.

What kind of springs are they? For what car and do you know what the rates are?

They are for my Del Sol Si,
The springs are from a Del Sol S
All del sol's had the same springs regardless of the model from what I understand.

Yeah, I don't understand why it's making it sit so high. I would have thought they were for a heavier car (possibly a VTEC Sol) hence the stiffer springs up front and the unnormally high stance. The back looks about right to me, but the front does seem abnormally high.

Have you drove it since you did it? Because the springs might not have settled at all. Also when I bought my civic it looked like the front was also higher to me than the rear.

Re: WhichStock Springs are for the front and which for the Rear? (cappa)
Driving it for 2 days, come to find out after talking to a friend at koni and a honda mechanic everyone has it backwards, the ones on the left are more progress and the coils are closer togther so they are not a stiff, the reason the car is sitting up is that the are longer and almost completly compressed, where if they were on the back the would not be compressed as much. The ones on the right are a lot less progressive and with the coil further apart are stiffer and should be in the front.

Re: WhichStock Springs are for the front and which for the Rear? (Solracer)
Do the ones on the left have at the top of the pic. Is the spring bent almost straight at the end? So if you loooked straight at it it would look like a sprial then the last turn just go straight into the other side of the spring almost? Its hard to explain what I mean. But that one for sure would be the rear bottom. Its hard to tell in the pic.

Don't quote me but I believe the left=rear and the right=front. The ones on the right would be stiffer. I know you can't really judge from the height in the pics, but damn that's high.

those springs u have look weird the del sol springs that i got from tenzo r are the same as far as thickness and what not but the rear springs are shorter becuz they dont have to support the weight of the engine the rear spings u have there look real flemsy and cheap. i would double check to make sure u have the right ones i have stock springs for coupe and del sol if u need em.
