Default shaking

i have a h22a motor in my accord.my car shakes crazy at 45 to 70 mph.before 40 and after 70 the car doesnt shake at all.i had the wheels balanced and i had a allignment done to it.i did a rotation i have tried everything on it nothing helps.i do have a little bend in the front right rim.i have 17'' rims with stock suspension.the mechanic told me that the little bvend i have in my rim is not causing that problem.so if anyone knows what my problem could be please reply.thanx

U said u had stock suspension right?? WEll id give that a look over. H22A is a heavy motor and that motor is heavier than ur stock accord motor. So i would go and give that a look over.

you also need an aftermarket shock cuz either way that motor will compress ur stock front suspension so no shock travel. no shock travel = blown shock which is dangerous especially if ur driving. Ive heard good things bout eibach pro kits. Personally id go with a full coil over set but thast if u got the money. But spring and shock works also and its less stiff.

Have you actually ruled out tires/wheels yet? Just swap some with a friend who doesn't have such a problem and see what happens. Try that before you go swapping out your whole suspension. I have a H22 in my 90 with stock suspension and no such problems.

Yes u can do what h2290 said first. But i would recommend changing suspension in the long run cuz ur stock suspension isnt gonna be reliable.

Please don't get the wrong impression. I am on my stock suspension and it is not doing what you said but I do agree with Nail that a better suspension setup should be in order after this swap. I haven't gotten to mine yet, but it is most definitely still a good idea. Not saying it will solve your problem or not but you should still do it.

I had the same problem with mine, shaking at a certain speed, mine was at 60 mph (Though I have no H22 Swap) and it was the slight dent on the front rim. I even got the spacers I think they're called. Once I switched it and put it on the back it ran fine. Just make sure the rotation's the same.

I use to work in a tire center and usually when I here this the most common problems are tire balancing, alignment, factory defect in tire, lack of rotation which can cup tires.
