ok i jus swapped a b16a into my 93 hatch, it has the short geared tranny with lsd, intake, exhausts, chipped ecu, and a vafc and it runs great. i shift it at 9k now with no problem and it runs fine but i want to go faster. I have a 4-1 header on the way, alonge with some skunk2 cam gears. Here are some things i plan to purchase, valve springs & retainers, obx stage 2 cams, msd cap with coil, intake manifold, rod bolts, head studs, and maybe main studs. when i need a clutch im going to get a good one with a lightweight flywheel. and maybe if i need them one piece valves. what should i get first? or wat, i just need your opinions, thanks, josh

 

from your times it looks like u have a strong engine. i think you should do some more research on what you want to buy. you say one piece valves?? what are you talking about? and you only list certain parts of the engine you are replacing as in head and main studs, you only replace those things when you are rebuilding the engine. or taking the head off for porting.

i would say for you to start with intake manifold and throttle body. then go on to valvetrain. and cams

well i heard the rod bolts make it safer to turn higher rpms. as for the valves i meant forged or somthing better. and the head studs and stuff i just figured it woundet hurt.

 

o ya and as far as the headstuds i jus figured i was going to take the head off to put everything in so y not get arp since your not supposed to use stock akgain.
