I have a ZC SOHC engine running nitrous and I blew the head gasket.I want to know what the best head gasket to get is?I'm looking at buying a whole head gasket set and I did not know if one from another motor is better that the one for my motor.

get a oem y8 hg, and some arp head studs and you should be fine

 

Yeah a head gasket set comes with all the gaskets needed to put the head on.Like an intake and exhuast manifold gasket.It will also come with a valve cover gasket and all of the other little gaskets.

 

nah you dont need that ****.... if you take the head off the IM will come with it... and you dont NEED new a valve cover gasket. Exhaust mani gasket shhhhhould be metal so cross that... save your $ from that **** and get soem head studs

 

i have already taken everything off of the head because I have a head off of a 90 Civic Si that is ported and polished that I want to put on my ZC bottom end.What car does the Y8 come in so I can try to get a head gasket and will all of the gaskets be the same?

 

the y8 is off a 96-00 civic ex. and yes all the gasket from the ex will fit your head... IM, EM,.. the only thing i question is the valve cover gasket... anyone?
