Was comming to a stop at the bottom of a hill and i put it into neutral and at this time i heard a loud spinning noise (kind of like those old plastic toy guns that shot sparks on the inside to light em up) then it died, tried restarting it nothing happened. Timing belt was replaced one year ago and it wasnt ignition. Any ideas?????

 

Check your dizzy cap,coil and ignitor

 

already done i had an aftermarket ignition and i switched back to stock, still nothing, it wants to start it gets exhaust gas out and everything, but if the timing belt was off my uncle said it wouldnt even try to start, any other ideas

 

check to see if the timing jumped

it'll still crank just wont start.
