Default ED3 D16Z6 Swap - Z6 or B2 Pulleys?

Looking at my D15B2 in my 90 LX preparing for the swap this week. I noticed all the belts are V-belts on the B2, and the Z6 is all the wide belts (like a serpintine belt). I know that its best to use a Z6 crank pulley with the Z6 because it's balanced for it, but I'm not sure what to do. Luckly I have a spare Y8 AC compressor, so I can probably swap those pulleys if I choose the Z6 pulley. The main problem is that my Z6 came without an alternator or PS pump...

Would it be safe to run with the B2 crank/accs pulleys, or should I try to get the Z6 accessories? Could I just swap pulleys, or do I need the entire Z6 alt/PS/AC units? As much as I want to get it done, atm its my 3rd car, 4 days in my possesion, and not reg'd/licensed. I'm getting my *** kicked by this heat/humidity wave here atm... (Not sure if this is the best place to post this either)

you can use either pulley set. if you use the z6 crank pulley there will be one extra groove that you will not use, no big deal. i've had them both on my z6 swap.
just use all your b2 accessories, they will work. good luck

Thanks, my main concern was using a crank pulley not balanced for the Z6. I'll probably try to get multi-grove pulleys in the future.

go with the B2 pully like someone stated it has one less groove so it will let ur motor run a bit better...

the B2 is balenced so dont worry on that, even though its balenced for a b2, it will be balenced on the z6 ;(

stay with the z6 pulley less hassle and it will run the same or better

Guess I can update this now, I chose the z6 pulley, all I need is a z6 PS pump (or at most, pulley). Got one availible, not installed. Turns out the obd0 alternator fits, only prob was taking off the old motor (bolt was froze like NONE I've seen to date).

Hope this helps someone in the future.
