specv's on portflows.
Im contimplating getting some spec v cams (buddy club). Plus im going to get the entire portflow setup as far as valvetrain is concerned. Now thats that, what should i get the head milled to raise the cr and where can i find a 1 layer headgasket? Then on top of all that how streetable is that? Does anyone have any vids or dyno charts of the new spec v's? Thanks guys appreciate it.
CHRIS NAILOR IS A SCAMMER!!!
Scammed me for STI seats and then these seats shown below. See original thread here:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1346370
GOT THE SEATS TODAY AND THEY ARE ****! ONE SEAT IS IN DECENT SHAPE AND THE OTHER IS FUCKED. I SET THE TWO SIDE BY SIDE TO SHOW HOW BAD THE OTHER WAS.
THIS DID NOT HAPPEN IN SHIPPING!!! THE BOTTOM BRACKET IS BENT AND HAS SCRATCHES IN THE CREASES THAT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY SHIPPING!! THEY WERE SENT LIKE THIS, PERIOD.

How are you gonna make this right, Nailor?
Your clock is ticking.

You should see it in person. It's obvious what happened.

what motor is it going on? it all depends on the current compression you already have. to be honest with you if you want somthing streetable, the spec v is already a mistake. buddy club even says that the spec v is a race cam. my motor has the spec IV's and my compression is at 13.3:1. if you want higher compression, get different pistons, thats always the best route to go. sounds to me like youre trying to gain alot more compression than you already have if youre thinking of milling the head and using a 1 layer gasket. DONT DO IT MAN, that is just asking for trouble.
HIGH LIFT CAMS+HEAD MILLING+1 LAYER GASKET =valve to piston contact.
(most likely) depending on how much you mill the head.
even besides valve to piston contact,...... doing that all that would throw your cam timing waayy off. like i said earlier, the safest way to increase c/r is higher compression pistons, or flat face valves, or a (2) layer gasket at the most, i really wouldnt trust a 1layer gasket for streetability. take my word for it man, i had to learn the hardway once, and my heart still aches
