the only thing I fear of a problem you might have is ground clearance and how good of a flange it has, you dont want it to crack the welds like it did on your JDM header, if you want to get a cheap one buy like the Megan Racing one, I wouldnt mess with that header, stop being cheap and just save up $200 or $300 more and get a better header.

^WRONG.

The megan header is actually really nice. The have a really crappy eBay brand reputation but anyone who ACTUALLY has inspected this header or owns it knows that its is much better quality than a JDM DC 4-1 that costs twice as much. I beleave HookUps tested it against the OEM JDM ITR and it made 4HP and 2 TQ over the OEM piece. Its really an excellent value for the below $500 header market and again the construction and fitment is excellent.

I have a dynamic autosport header, i am almost certain these "cheap" headers are the same thing (this one, meagan) Great header if thats all the performance you want. I dont know why i bought mine, i guess just to try it.

Best bet, buy one of spark racing's new headers, they are cheap and make awesome power from what i've seen.

Here's my ground clearance on a b16.

And a little side note, its flat as fawk now

I use the ebay 4 to1 megan w/ 2.5 collector. i use to run the DC 4 to1 w/ 2 or
2 1/4 collector. the megan's quality is real nice to be cheap priced, just as nice or nicer than DC. my tuner highly recommended a header w/ a 2.5 collector so w/ my very low budget that was all i could afford so i've stuck w/ it until one day i save for an RMF or something else

Megan is ok if you have access to a Tig to fix it. My collector completely broke off 6 weeks after installing it. Tig'd it back together and no problems since.

get the edelbrock b series header on ebay for a little under 300 shipped, and then get the collector modded to 2.5.
owns the dc jdm itr header, and ground clearance is like stock.

edit: i only see one for the 99-00 civic si out on ebay right now

I have the Megan Racing 4-1 header with the 2.5" collector on my JDM B18C I love it!! Haven't had one problem with it and would buy one all over again if I had to. I recommend it to anyone that isnt looking to spend a small fortune on a nice header like SMS, RMF, HyTech, etc. My ground clearance is good and well I have heard of these headers breaking if you dont use the spring bolts or a flex pipe but that goes for alot of headers.

I just used to the stock spring bolts where the header would bolt up to the converter so it has a little movement there. I have a friend that didnt use any spring bolts or a flex pipe and his 4-2-1 DC header has a crack in it now.

Apparently, you havent seen many jdm 4-1 headers from DC, the ground clearance isnt anything special, come to think of it just about every dc header i've seen including mine is dented all to hell
