where did you get that ecu? it looks like a p2p with a p28 casing......most obd1 ecu's have an open spot where a 28 pin socket an eprom can be soldered into like this:

a friend online. he got the ecu with a complete y8 swap. never did the swap and bought a nissian. he's a guy i've been talking to for quite a long time. he was never able to test it and said feel free to send it back if it doesn't work. i haven't even payed for it yet so i trust his knowledge of the ecu..which is nothing lol

you said that ecu came from a buddy that bought a complete y8 swap right? its possible that the y8 swap he bought came from a 96-97 del sol si which came with the y8 motor.....and it could very well be an obd2 p28...

you can get an obd1 ecu with 2a and 2b plugs.

hondata sells p28's with obd2 plugs.
