Was just wondering whats the best/easiest way to remove the instrument cluster on a delsol to replace a couple bulbs?

Does the WHOLE dash need to be taken out? I did it on my EG with no probs, but the sol looks a lil bit more tricky.

If anyone has an easy way please post pics would be GREAT too

Dammit, I saw instructions in the Helm manual but can't find them now for the life of me. That thing's too damn big.

I'm pretty sure you have to first remove the upper trim piece that holds the accessory switches (aux lights, hazard, etc).

 

I don't have pics but its really easy, you have to take out the two screws under the bezel that holds it in place. Now the switches for the fog lights hazard, and cruise ect. Now pull those switches straight out. disconnect the wires, now remove that bezel, there's a few more screws you need to remove but there right there in the open, don't forget the one for the top bracket on top, its pretty easy and shouldn't take more then a few minutes.

Straight up like that...

1. Remove (2) screws on the underside of bezel (panel that has the aux, ect.)
2. Pull out the bezel trim.
3. Remove (3) screws that hold the cluster in, 1 on top, 1 on each side.
4. Pull the cluster out
5. Unplug the plugs behind cluster (auto=5, man=4)
6. Do what you gotta do..
7. Do everything in reverse.

del Sol cluster are the easiest to take out. I miss my sol. Goodluck.
