Reseting bushings?
okay I jacked up my car yesterday with those stock jacks and adjusted my coilovers in the front and I read somewhere I need to reset my bushings? what is the proper way to do this? I dont know what bushings they mean. any pics would help. BTW I got tokico blues.
I asked this same question and here is the answer I got. When the car is in the air start on loosing any bolt that goes though a bushing. Once they are all loose take a jack and lift the LCA up till that section of the car is off the jackstand. Once off the jackstand tighten up any bolt you loosened, set that section back on the jackstand and move on to the next one.
...and make sure to torque everything back to spec....and it wouldn't hurt to double check in a couple of days.
Note: this will not work with the rear trailing arm bushing, as it needs to be removed and re-pressed at a correct orientation.
