okay so ur not gonna belive this but i did my mpfi conversion and swapped in a d16z2 all went well she fired right up all injectors are "injecting" but i went to turn it off and i turned the key completely off and the son of a bitch didn't turn off we had to suffocate it to get it to die. wtf is up? i can't figure this out. HELP! TIA

Which of the wires you hooked up are getting battery voltage with the ignition off?

 

Is the car running extremely rich? It could be dieseling! Recheck your wiring and keep trying. Usually when it diesels, it will rev up and hold @ rev limit.

 

no its not revving it just dont' turn off lol you have to litterly choke the air off to kill it

my dads car buick did that, his ignition switch had gone to shizzit

 

check your wiring, sounds like something was wired to a constant hot when it should ahve been a switched 12v source, or the ign switch is crap...
