My wifes honda occasionally has a really low idle, and twice its just died while driving along the highway. Its usually when I take my foot off the pedal and coast for a while, then go to accelerate and boom, its dead. Power stays on, but the engine is off. Fortunately I've been able to pull over both times safely. Restarting it while coasting in nuetral doesnt seem to work. Any thoughts on what the issue may be?

Its a '98 Accord, Auto, w/ 80k miles.

 

I believe there was an ignition recall on most of the 6th generation accords dealing with faulty ignitions......
