How common is belt slippage?

Default How common is belt slippage?

right around the time my boost gets going it feels like my belt is slipping a little.
the car sort of stutters a little.

It isnt very common at all, are you sure your clutch isnt slipping?

What belt?? I had my timing belt slip and it was immediately noticable... the car didn't run anymore because I bent all 16 valves. Any other belt slipping would sound like a squealing and you wouldn't feel anything. It probably your clutch as the previous poster said.
