keep your head up man, it's easy easy easy.

1. Undo the clutch cable from the transmission. Loosen the adjustment nut all the way off, slip the cable out of the metal bracket.

2. Follow it up the engine bay, undo it from all the brackets until you have just the cable dangling loosely in the engine bay.

3. Climb in the car, undo the cable from the back of the clutch pedal. It is very very simple to do this, you'll see how it works right away.

4. Reinstall, adjust clutch freeplay by turning the adjustment nut. If it doesn't go into gear, loosen it off a bit. You don't want the engagement point to be at the floor, or at the top of the pedal travel. It should be somewhere in the middle, nearer to the top.

be sure not to adjust it too tight as it will cause the release bearing to constantly ride on the pres. plate forks, then you'll be posting how to drop a tranny & replace a clutch.(bearing will seize, if you dont notice the seized bearing will eat through your pres. plate forks = NOT GOOD!!!)
It should be tight enough so you can just get it into gear easily.
Shouldn't be that bad for ya.

I press the clutch cable a few times, then I loosen the plastic washer on the trans clip to the top, pull the cable up enough for it to simply slide out, then I take it off the bar going to the trans. Then unbuckle it from behind the pedal. Pretty simple.

Yeah, it's not going to just fall out, you're going to have to work at it a little. The adjustment nut should be at the top. Pull up on the release fork and work the end of the cable out of the gap on the fork. Then you can pull the end of the sheath out of the bracket that holds it and slide the cable through the gap in that. Sounds complicated but when you see it, you'll understand. When you try to get the cable out of the bracket, take the rubber boot off the end to uncover the inner cable to fit though.

I hope this helps...

yea i just replaced my whole clutch in my driveway a wekk ago. its really not that hard at all. move some of the hoses out of the way and unscrew the adjustment nut and pull down on the cable. theres goin to be a small openong on the side of the circle its in. pull up the rubber boot and pull the cable through the gap. then pull out the cable adjustment nut and follow the cable throught the firewall and disconnect it from your clutch pedal. then just install it the same way that you un-installed it. simple 3 hr. max job
