Default 99-00 conversion?

Just wondering how easy would it be to do a 99-00 conversion on a 97 hatchback? Is it as easy as 99-00 fenders hood bumber and headlights? Is it pretty much a direct fit? does anyone know.? I would like to get a new CF hood for my car if i was doing the conversion first should i just order a 99-00 CF hood? Any help is greatly appreciated.

try searching, but its true... there is a great debate on if the radiator support needs to be adjusted or not.

I watched my friend do it. It looked easy...I don't know why'd you do it though. Maybe a si front conversion, but personaly i wouldn't do it for just a cf hood. Then you gotta think of paint blah blah..

Do it. The grill is wider than the previous years and gives the car a more updated and newer look. My fren has done it on both of his EKs that were 96-98. He put 00 SI front clip and it looks kewl. Easy bolt on. Only takes about an hour. Good luck n post pix when it's done.

I didnt read your whole post. Yeah you have to do the whole front clip. If you just get a 99-00 CF hood, it will bolt on and close, but you will have gaps next to your headlights and grill. You'll be very pleased with the results when do the conversion. It is subtle, but Honda heads will notice the diff n give ya props.
