Turbo or supercharger. pistons are always good to make a motor work.

What exactly are you asking? Whats good to use? Use old school Supra pistons with B16 rods, 14psi daily no problem

Old supra pistons? Wow first time I've heard of that.......

Sorry to thread jack but has anyone made any good power on a jackson supercharger? I would pick one up if it were like 500 bucks but $2000 for like 30 hp seems crazy to me when you can get a turbo for cheaper.........

You don't need new pistons to run boost. Just put on your turbo kit and run lower boost levels; 6-7 psi. If thats not enough power for you then I would suggest building up the bottom end with new rods and pistons. Take steps on your build-up or you'll get too far too quickly and get bored.

I would consider this good power. Sure a turbo has more potential, but this isn't bad for a 1.5L

well pistons alone will not get you anymore power. If you get high compression pistons you might pick up a couple horses. Usually people get lower compression pistons, and stronger rods so they can run more than 10lbs of boost safely
