Default 2000 civic si with a 18c1 motor

Would anyone out there know if a 2000 civic si will pass smog with a 2000 gsr motor in california? With all the emissions hooked up of course.

I don't see why not if all the emissions stuff is done right and the engine is a usdm one........

And yeah, why do you want a b18 if you already have a b16? Doesn't make sense to me..........

Yes. But in order for it to pass a normal smog test, you must first get it BAR'd. But if everything is hooked up, then it will pass BAR easily. Getting your swap barred will get you the sticker that will allow you to pass the visual part of the smog test.

YOU WILL NOT PASS SMOG without gettin it BAR'd first. just wanted to clear that up first.
