d15b vtec problems!!
I have no idea how to do this my self all im asking is what to but and then im gonna have a shop do the install! i have a 95 eg cx with a d15b jspec sohc vtec motor. problem is its hooked up to the stoc cx ecu! ive been told i need to buy a p28 ecu but im not sure also i dont know what wiring to but for the vtec! ive seen the vtec harnesses on ebay but they are all for a 1.6l ex or si will that work? so i need to know what ecu and vtec harness to buy! any help would be appreciated
Vtec is wires in your firewall to the solinoid thats all i believe....
P28 ECU will work and a P03 i think? It should plug right in...
I am doing this exact swap also and i hear its cake as long as you get the vtec plug and wires hooked up out of the firewall...
Good luck on a kickass swap
