b16 swap question

Default b16 swap question

i have a 2000 civic si an my pistons rings just burned so i burning alot of oil. i have a gsr block and just looking to throw that in an sell the b16 block. what all do i need besides the head gasket for the swap?? thanks

if youre just throwing everything from the b16 onto the gsr shortblock, you would just need the usual new gaskets and other little misc items.

So your saying your going to use the b16 head with the gsr bottom end? If you do that you might want to get new gaskets and new head studs, and before you put the head on the block make sure your block and the bottom of you head are level. If not you might need to get it milled a little depending on how uneven it is. Would want any leaks.

ok so all the parts off the si will directly bolt onto the gsr block
