swapping out my 99 B16A2 FOR A 98 JDM B18C..

my b18 has no cfk sensor.. how do i get around this problem>? i dont want any check engine lights..

you'll need an oil pump and timing belt cog off an OBDII engine.
have you considered going OBDI?

what is this timing belt cog>? is it why im having trouble with my timing belt>? its always skipping a tooth..

it's the gear that slides on the end of the crank that the timing belt rides on.
on the OBDII model it has a set of teeth to trigger the crank flux sensor.these can be seen in your pic of the B16-it's the gear looking part behind the part of the gear the belt rides on.
your skipping teeth most likely because of improper belt tension.

ok.. this just popped in my head.. why dont i just switch the oil pumps&gt;?.. wouldnt that work just the same&gt;?

JDM ECUs don't look for CKF sensors and they also do NOT communicate with OBD2 scantools, which means when you pull up into the emmissions station and they go to hook up their computer to your car, you're going to instantly fail.
