Does changing you altenator require you to remove or mess up timing or timing belt?

Default Does changing you altenator require you to remove or mess up timing or timing belt?

Does changing you altenator require you to remove or mess up timing or timing belt? Or when you change your altenator, you just have to take off the alenator pully belt and nothing else.
