Already searched. I knwo someone selling 02 wrx seats and want to knwo if the recaro sliders for a eg will allow me to run those seats?

Has anyone ever done this or seen this done?

 

make your own mounts... I love the STi seats there soo damn comfy.

Yeah my friend has a 94 but he wont gimmie his but this other guy is selling 2002 seats not as nice but they have more support.

u might have to make ur own. but check out the pattern and ask someone for dimensions of there EG recaro brackets.

 

a friend of mine bolted a set of wrx seats into his eg ... he said all the holes lined up but one

 

I would like all four to line up if posiable.

I mean is it as simple as ordering the recaro slider for my car?

 

dear lord take them to any shop where there is some one with welding experience they will make them work or modd your rails to work. **** any one with any welding exp. would be able to do this for you.

 

I was tryin for a basic bolt in but i might jus thave to do that. I had jsu thear a rumor that a recaro slider for a eg would mount those seats/

would it be possible to put Civic rails & mounts onto the WRX seat?

i was also thinking about doing this for my hatch.

 

Anyone knwo if it would work deal on these seats wont last but im not gonna get em if i cant just get a simple solution.

 

just find a friend that can weld and have them rig something up... that is what i did. i have 02' RL seat in my 4dr 98 civic... Leather, 8 way adjust and last but certainly not least HEAT. i got my rigged for 50bux. took him like 4 hrs+ we had never done it before. I think i drank close to 50 bux of his beer though

Just buy the seats... it won't be hard or cost much to make them fit. It's not hard to find someone who knows how to weld.

You can't expect them to be a perfect bolt in if you take them out of one car and put them in a completely different car.

 

you can try and change the seat pans...

 

first of all as far as i know the wrx seats are made by momo not recaro i may be mistaken, if they are recaro your in luck because recaro makes brackets for the eg there expensive but they come with all the bolts youll need and they fit perfectly i have lancer evo8 recaros in my eg and it wasent a hassle at all, you may have to buy new sliders, and if your interested i have the sliders brand new in a box sittin pretty in my basement. but if they are infact momo then just contact the company and thell hook you up, i got my recaro brackets directly from recaro for slightly cheaper then retail but if you dont want to mess with calling them just go to http://www.speedwaremotorsports.com

yes they are momo, my freind has an 02 WRX everything is momo, very nice seats i just bought a pair to put in my 94 civic hatch, they dont line up but its not too hard to hack and chop

WOuld a momo bracket make them work without hacking them up?

 

probably, i dont really know i'm super cheap if i can do it myself i do.... but hey contact momo they should probably have something that works if they are smart... and those are the most comfortable seats EVA!

momo makes the brackets that you need its just figureing out the part number that will fit best, recaro makes it easy and makes one universal one momo on the other hand makes like 3-4 different brackets for the eg from 92-95 i dont know which ones you should use so your going to have to call momo on that lucky for you its a toll free call 800-251-7625 http://www.momousa.com http://www.shopmomo.com/sebrapch.html that should put you through to some one that might be able to help you, and you may want to go by subaru and get the parts diagram for the seat.
