Default 97 Accord Strut bar question

It looks like on the left side of the engine bay you might ahve to re-locate some wiring to install a STB. Is this correct? On my 97 Accord there is a bunch of wires that is located right next to the sturt location and appears as if it would be in the way of a tower bar?

can anyone verify this? Or show some pictures of what has to be done, if anything at all?

In my 92 accord I had to move some wiring harnesses that were clipped onto some metal that was right by my passenger front strut tower, they just pop off and go down. Probly about the same thing for your 5th gen.

just move it like a normal person would.....just dont yank on it and rip a wire out of a connector....if you can imagine how much grime and abuse they see over the course of normal driving, its not a big deal just to move them

thats really only with sway bars......rear, or front, strut bars are basically to stiffen up the chassis, not to change suspension geometry...

What is the problem with tie bars? I was about to order a set of bars and was gonna look for a 3 piece set, but since you said that I might only look for a 2pc (front and rear strut) set. Tie bars go underneath the car attatched to the frame in some way right?

there isnt really anything "wrong" with tie bars, just id rather spend my money on a strut bar than a tie bar

yea what does a sway bar bolt to anyway? why would a sway bar affect oversteer/understeer while a tower bar just tightens the whole damn thing up?
