I would'nt pay more than 600$ for a set in excellent condition
Thats a little under half of what you would pay for a set of the black JDM ones

I would think you could get anywhere from $600-$700, since they're in good shape. Good luck with the sale, if you decide to get rid of them.

Don't worry about what I can/can't afford...its probably alot more than you could when you were my age, but thats besides the point...

I know what my boyfriend sold his for, and they were in the same condition that this guy is asking about, lets be realistic USDM parts dont go for jack anymore...

And for the record I wouldnt want your USDM seats anyways...And if I did, I could get my boyfriend to buy them for me, but regardless his JDM Recaro's own your USDM's

2. Good for your boyfriend, he got lowballed IMO. Go take it IDB.

3. You've obviously been brainwashed by this JDM bandwagon bs, get a life, maybe your boyfriend can find one at passwordJDMJDMJDMJDM.co.jp

*I have seen most ITR seats go for anywhere from 550-700...good luck.

the arguement of USDM seats are less valuable then JDM seats is rediculous. USDM ITR seats are far more rare than JDM seats. its only the fact that people want the JDM seats more that is why they sell them for more.

it is true they will only bring about 500-750 depending on condition and market at the time they are sold

and black or red jdm recaros will bring 1000-1200 why, well because they are recaro and they are JDM

ask yourself this what will a set of yellow jdm recaros bring? or CDM red fronts or even red rears.

supply and demand people

<---- oh yeah hate it when kids try to e-thug and claim they have more money than we ever did at their age. do what you want with your money and dont brag how much you have, cuz everyones rich on the internet . just like every guy is hung like a horse

How is that argument so ridiculous? You just stated yourself that the JDM ITR seats go for more than the USDM ITR, because of supply and demand, therefore making the JDM ITR seats more valueable than the USDM seats? Am I correct? You will also see the CDM seats go for more than the USDM seats as well making them more valuable than the USDM seats as well...

The issue was never which set of seats were more rare, but even if that was the argument, I would still think the JDM and CDM seats would be considered rarer than the USDM seats since they will either come from way up North, or from all the way on the other side of the world. Seems like they sound pretty rare to me, which in turn creates the greater demand for them, and also raising the price...but thats just my .02

Also, I really dont think Azn_leli was trying to "E-Thug". I see a couple " / " faces in there; which like Koala Yummies pointed out, stands for sarcasm around here. I think he took her response the wrong way and was quick to retaliate because of her low post count...noob's have senses of humors too you know

And to make my post related...I sold my USDM seats for 550$ picked up, I advertised them on here for 800 shipped OBO, I got right about where I wanted for them and they were in the same condition as the PY 01-0972's seats seem to be in...

-Austin...who is a BAGILLIONAIRE, and my E-***** is this big 8-------------------->

She was making fun of my low income rate, because she knows my bank statements and annual income. I had to say something.

Aside from the rareity, JDM Type R seats go for more because they're soooper comfy!

i'm not a jdm bandwagoneer nor am i putting down USDM ITR seats, but i don't understand whats so great about them (to command nearly $600 for used ones). they're just regular integra seats wrapped in a alcantara (yah yah i know they'd cost eleventy billion dollars from the dealership, but what doesn't? ). they're neither super comfy nor uncomfy, its just a regular seat. the JDM Recaros on the other hand feels like a giant vagina and holds you in way better than the usdm counterpart imho

brand new BC seats are like ~$320 ea. + rails/brackets and holds you in even better than the SR3s do... best of all, they're made by the same company that made Mugens

right ... BUT you're comparing a fixed-back racing seat compared to a reclineable, bucket seat. it's like comparing apples and oranges.

I think opie has been looking for another set of USDM front seats. If you're looking to sell, you might want to look him up.

Try some EG "banana" seats, or some 1st gen CRV seats as well and nearly all the Accord seats suck too. The ITRs are amongst the more comfortable seats I've felt from Honda.

Well, you paid about $400 too much then (if for front's only). The going rate for used ITR USDM front seats in good condition (no rips, tears, burns, holes or fading, but with the usual wear on the driver's seat bolster, is $600 (on H-T 'lowballer tech' ).

JDM and CDM seats are RECAROS. The USDM seats are not as nice, and not as rare, and don't have to be shipped from very far away, paying import duties in the process. Thus, they are less. Being JDM has nothing to do with it.

And JDMy0! - You should probably lurk for awhile here, and find out how things are done, before you go posting smack talk. After your nice post on the ITR board, I checked your posts. All of the 4 total were not very nice. Perhaps you are a regular user here, and just created a new user ID so you can talk trash?

I don't agree. The USDM seat IS NOT just a regular Integra seat wrapped in Alcantara. Do you even have an ITR? It's a much different seat, and it holds you in much better than regular Integra, which is why it's in the car stock, and why they get stolen so much.

As far as fit, it's not only personal preference, but body shape. A short skinny guy who fit's the average asian body type (and thus 'fits' the size and shape Honda designed the seat to) is going to fit them a lot better than a typical swarthy american. I'm in the middle, so I fit them quite well.

The Recaros are 'better', but as said elsewhere here, you're comparing a fixed back racing seat to an adjustable one, and there's no comparison.
