i just got redid my whole brake system on my 92 civic CX.. brembo slotted/drilled front rotors, new OEM drums, and all OEM pads. i noticed the brake pedal is stiffer when i brake now. it doesn't have that mushy feel like it sinks in.. is this normal? it brakes fine, but i kind of like it when it has that mushy feeling to it

hehe yea, thats normal, does it break fine, any odd feeling in the pedal at hard breaking ? like vibrations

 

That's the feeling you should be having with the new brakes

 

Thats normal I just did the same on my Del Sol but I have 4 wheel disks, Its so much better, stiffer pedal, shorter stop distances, just remember to break the rotors in first.

 

its better to feel like that....the mushy feeling is weekk brakes
