Default Brake problems...

Ok.. The previous owner did a "hole in the wall" brake pad change 3K ago. The brake felt like crap. (seriously can't stop)

Then the master went out.. I changed the master, bleed the brakes with Blue ATE.

Car still feels like crap. BTW this is a 93 del sol SI with front and rear disc.

Should I change the brake pads since they are still new? Would this help... probably pep boys ****.. You think low quality brake pads will do this to me?

you think with OEM pads, it will be better. I drove other Del sol and they feel good.

HELP!

When I dump the brakes the car still moves

Is the pedal just very soft?
Did you bench bleed the master cylinder?
Brake pads wont cause a problem like this when they are brand new.

The brake pedel dipped down to the firewall, so I changed the master. Then I bleed the brakes. I'm 100% sure I did this all correct.

The only 3 things I can think of

Shityy pads
Rotors are warped, but no sign of shakking..
or Hydrolics??

What is the car doing?

Warped rotors make the pedal pulsate.

Pads when new can really only cause noise and fade problems.

The pedel feels great, no hitting the walls anymore..

No pulsations, no shakking..(Leads me to believe its not the rotors)

Just when I brake, it will stop, but it feels like there is NO grip. takes twice the distance and long to brake.

Lets just say if I was going 50 miles per hour and I slam on the brakes, I'm going to be moving at least 8-10 cars before it stops..

I've own many cars before, never like this...

hmm..

Did you ever stop to think that maybe it is because it is not a race car. If you want it to stop better call brembo or buy a car with better brakes.

Do you know what type of pads were used?

They may have been higher heat range pads. Change pads and resurface the rotors.

Here is a better descp. It feel like the brakes are overheated, and fades.

(but of course the car is cold, and it does this all the time.)

Now it leads me to think it's the brake pads..
