fuel pump
ok my question is kinda odd my freind is doing my swap he modified my engine bay harness to fit my jdm harness. we need to rewire at the ecu but we tryed cranking it over and it did but i didn't here the fuel pump kick on do i need the ecu hooked up for the fuel pump to kick on ??? on the bright side my engine bay wiring looks clean as hell thanks in advance
Yes you need te ecu in to get the fuelpump to work. Please don tell me you friendcut your factory harness and spliced it into the "jdm" harness that came with the engine.

the jdm harness came with all of the engine bay plugs both sides of the jdm harness he cut my stock plugs off sorted and matched all of my wires up ran wires from the drivers side and vice versa because the jdm harness had some of the wires on the pass that needed to be on the drivers side and vice versa. my swap also came with the obd1 plugs he cut my obd0 plugs and slodered on my obd1 ecu plugs and it starteed frist try no check engine lights or anything the guy is a wiring genious
