Default A/C condensor hole? Can I fix it?

THe other day I got out of my car and noticed a hissing noice which i found out was a TINY hole at the top of the A/C condensor. IS there any way I can fix it? JB Weld and recharge it? Or do I have to buy a new one?
THanks
Matt

You can try JB Weld, or procure one from the Junkyard or from me for cheap.

I'd buy a used one, cause if you don't fix it right you're gonna waste that refrigerant.

Don't forget, when you change it out, if you haven't already done so go over to R-134

in my experience, r-134 doesn't cool QUITE as well as r-12 in cars made for r-12, because it doesn't have as high of a specific heat, and our car's aren't made to hold a lot of it. but it still works, is better for the environment, and is about a fifth the cost.

i'm pretty sure the price of r-12 is jacked up so high is to "encourage" people into buying the slightly more environmentally friendly r-134a.
