the new hatch has a little trouble dropping into second from first....i have to really push it in there....new bushings?? or maybe something else??

Your syncros might be going bad

New shifter bushing ARE worth it imo,...just a smoother, tighter feel when you shift.

I'd get your tranny checked out tho, or you clutch might be taking a dump on you.

Stock clutch?

 

sonds like syncros to me... mine is the same way... what year and modle do you hvea..? what engine?
