Why is my spark plug hole rusty? {[[pic]]}
1 of my spark plug holes is rusty it has been like that since i got the car never really payed any attention to it.
the engine runs fine no problems at all.
can i clean it? if so how, i dont wanna get any crap in the engine.
the pic is bad but you can see the rust.

the plug second to the right used to be in the rusty whole when i got the car but i switched them.
all other holes are shinny

You could try adding just a very small amount of seafoam to the cylinder to see if it would eat the rust away...It did the trick on a car I was working on before...
Water probably made it under the spark plug boot. Whats the big deal? Spray a shot of wd-40 in there when you replace plugs, or put a little bit of anti-sieze on the plug threads and dont worry about it.
