Default question

if you had the chance to do a swap on a '97 accord which motor would you swap in,
jdm h22a type-s, jdm h22a euro-r, or jdm h22a 96-98?
and why would you do it?
thanks for your time.

An OBDI JDM H22.

But, I think an auto D16 would be nice too.

A D16??? are you joking lmao!!! (Accords are heavy, and they need torque, something which a 1.6L lacks)

If you wanna spend a whole lot of money for nothing, then buy the H22a Type-S or the Euro-R B20 (or whatever the heck it is).

I'd say go with the H22A, there are lots of aftermarket parts, and they'll easily make more power with a few mods, you'll spend less on the engine too, its up to you, but i'd say go H22a.

Nah man. I'm being dead serious. D16 automatic is the best bang for the buck.

SOHC rulez. Don't forget to put the MUGEN sticker on the valve cover!

you've got to be joking, d16 best bang for the buck.....lol....like i said an Accord weighs a lot more than a civic, and 2000 for an H22a is pretty damned good, and DOHC rules, more power (mugen sticker )

he's kidding...are you retarded??

the H22a7 (type S/ Euro-R) arent worth the extra money....for WAY less than the difference in engine prices, you can make a regular H22a make more power using aftermarket parts

Sorry for the confusion. I meant that the MUGEN sticker was the best bang for the buck.

You don't want to deal with ATTS on Type S motor.
