theyre **** because they throw codes for things that arent happening (rich, lean, bad cat)
They dont last
they fall apart
I bought one that didnt last for more than 2months before going bad - others have had similar experiences

I have been using a universal one, bosch i think, for like a year and a half with no problem. For 40$ it is worth it

Bosch's tend to switch more slowly as the ECU is commanding a rich/lean condition and it'll usually lead to an overall rich condition with the ECU sometimes setting a Code 43/45 (whichever is for fuel supply system). So they actually work 'good' for turbo applications or applications where running rich is alright.

But for stock, OEM/Denso.

And $300 for an OEM - is that for the Vx O2 sensor or something? OEM online is like $160 or so.

Well I can assure you that the 02 sensor for the VX is near $300. I bought the Bosh from Autozone and have had no problems with it. Well I seem to have a main relay problem now, but I dont think that the 02 sensor caused that. 13 years and 250K miles can do just about anything to a stock engine.

Here is an ebay ad for Denso O2 sensors for 50 bucks.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW

If you guys say these cost $160, is this too good to be true?

For that price, it may just be a universal, with no plug

i've used/installed more Bosch O2 sensors than i can count.never had a problem out of any of them.on all my own cars i've used them on,i've always gotten above average fuel economy,so no problem there either.
i'm a big fan of OEM parts,so if you can afford it,go with it.as far as just about any other replacement part,i ONLY use OEM stuff.since this isn't a part that could cause huge problems if it failed(like a timing belt for instance),i go with the aftermarket ones.
