sub makes huming noise when car is on help<<<<,

ok i hooked up my sub audiobahn with some generic amp ... well all is well when the car is off but when i start it like a whistle noise comes from the sub and the higher i rev the higher it sounds any help thanks...

Use alternator noise, engine whine, motor noise or system noise and search, there must be 100s if not 1000s of posts on it.

check the amp, blew my amp/got water in it(leak in taillight gasket on my eg) and it did that. sux bad when yuo hear it though cause you know soemthign is wrong, good luck

I ran into a similar situation when I was running a multiple amp system. A ground loop isolator plugged to the input on one of the amps fixed that problem.
