i recently baught a ef hatch with the obdo b16 i drove for a couple days then i seen that the check engine light came on im not sure what it is from the ecu blinks two slow times then three fast i thought that this is code was code 23 but thats a knock sencor code and i dont believe obdo b16's have a knock sencor im not sure what this could mean or how it may have been caused its making me nervous though so if anyone has any idea what this could mean or how it may have happen please lmk asap thanx alot guys see ya

 

ok i found that there is a knock sensor but when i first start the car the check engine light does not come on then when it warms up and idles normal the check engine light comes on could this be from a bad knock sencor or it unplugged somewhere i need help please lmk what you think asap thanx

 

any one have any suggestions or ideas lmk asap please thanx.

yes.
my car has the same code, so i will be fixing it tomorrow.
i'll let ya know what works or doesn't work for me.
it must be either the connection or the knock sensor has gone bad.

 

i know that **** is so annoying mine just started doing this lately and you can loose some hp and gas with that knock sencor either bad or not plugged in so i need to fix mine asap lmk how everything goes thanx
