i have a d15b jspec sohc vtec motor with a cx intake mainfold on it looking to replace it will a d16 intake manifold. will it fit? if so, do i have to change the throttle body? im a little confused anyone have any ideas?

OMG replace it now!!! And yes a d16 will fit...make sure you get the d16z6 or d16y8 intake manifold AND throttle body.

The CX has a shitty intake manifold and a teeny tiny throttle body

 

also the motor is running on a cx ecu was looking to chip it but not sure and also i would still need the vtec harness right? any insight?

 

omg and get a proper ECU.

Buy a p28 or try to find a d15b ecu....i think you can use your stock harness

 

but the car doesnt come wired for vtec if i change the ecu i still have to run vtec wiring right?

 

which manifold is better the y8 or the z6?

 

wiring it for vtec sint that hard.
