Ok, so my steering wheel will turn but my tires won't so no matter how far i turn my steering wheel my tires point straight. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

 

Broken tie rod ends or broken steering rack. Take the wheels off and check it out.

dave i have a steering rack for you already off a car and its yours free, comes with everything.

 

Check where the steering column connects to the rack, make sure both connections are turning.

I think this just happened to me today. Is this easily to fix yourself? If so about how much?

 

Okay, upon examining my problem. I noticed that I was able to turn the right front tire by hand. But, not the left.


What does this mean? I trtried googling but, a bbunch of non relevant stuff came up.

 

It means it's time to start taking things apart
