Hello, i have bought a B16A
The engine doesn't run properly, it is very rough when idling and stalls after about 30 seconds of idling, what could be the problem?

Check your injectors.

 

are u throwin any codes??

 

It has codes 43 and 44 and the engine light comes on sometimes (very rarely), it has very rough idling and stalls most of the time, but it drives fine when i get it going. what should i check first?

 

well 43 is for fuel delivery system...so yeah check ur injectors...maybe ur idle is set too low adjust the screw and see if it fixes it...if not check ur spark plugs...

 

I have checked the spark plugs today, i corrected them, how would i check the injectors? thankyou for the help.

how did they look when u took them out??did they look too rich??? did ur car smell like unburned gas while running? to check for a bad injector you just take the plug out of the top of it and see if the revs drop...if they do than its good..do this to each of ur inectors if u take one out and nothing happens then that is the bad one..

 

The spark plugs had very big gaps and they had alot of carbon on them, they were not covered with unburnt gas. i will check the injectors today or tomorow.
