Hey I know most of you have prolly read me posting I got a B16 in my 93 civic ex well the swap was sone about a month ago from my CRX to my civc got sick of the crx alot of people have them just like hatchs so I wanted to be a different with a coupe anyways well like I said the swap was done about a month ago and withtin the first 3 weeks I had broken an Axel...my dad replaced it last friday then today (the 3rd) I was in reverse pulling out of my driveway and I hear a THUMP! I was like hm I guess I ran over something I put it in 1st gear and it started moving forward I hear a VERY LOUD grinding sound I was like whoaaa...I put it back in my driveway reverse again pulled forward and I here another grinding sound but along with a whole bunch of thumps so Im like ok I help the clutch halfway up and hit the gas to pull it back into the driveay well I open up the hood and the passenger side Axel rubber boot was completely twisted around and the shaft was kind drooping down a little bit thats the SAME axel I broke the weekbefore my dad is a mechanic and also the one who did the swap he said it's probably because something is out of line so now I am without a car all day saturday because my dad wont be here and sunday it gets fixed but anyone know what the problem is perhaps sorry for this long thing but please read!

 

do you know what kinda mounts you used, or what axels your using?? since either one of those are wrong then yah you would be breaking axles..

 

Ive been using Avid Motor mounts they better be working considering I paid almost $500 for them and the axels from a local axel shop where I live
