4th gen not starting (no crank)
I have a 92 Accord EX that has had starting issues for a couple of months. The starter and battery have been tested as working. The car will start fine, then I stop for ten minutes, and try to restart the engine, and no crank. Some times it would crank but not stay running. This sounds like the starter relay (main relay) overheating and failing, but currently it is not starting at all. The key goes to ignition (start) and the clutch goes in, there is a 'click' but no crank. The battery has a full charge. The only thing that I can think of is the battery cables, which have had to have terminal ends replaced with universal lead ones recently, but all of the accesories work fine, and it had been starting relatively fine.
What am I missing?
Recent repairs:
Timing belt (and all included items)
Oil sending unit
All coolant hoses
1992 Honda Accord EX
21XXXX miles

check your ignition switch.
i had similar problems. i changed my battery and it was fine for about a month and then the same thing. i changed my starter and the same thing happened.
then one day, i removed my igniton switch from the steering column because i wanted to mount it where the trunk release lock is (because too many hondas get stolen here by ice-smoking-chronics).

Since all it does is just click this leads me to believe it is the ignition switch. Here is a good how-to on how to check to see if your ignition switch is faulty or not:

Two votes for ignition switch... Okay, but that entails pulling the steering wheel on this model correct?
So this morning I got back out there, and put the starter and battery back in, and wha-la it started up.... Three times, drove around the block. Stopped, and tried to restart... Crank, no start... Crank, no start... Crack, starts and dies... Cranks, starts runs rough, and evens out...
From the other sites that I have looked at this sounds like the relay, but I dont have too much electronics knowledge of the engine to know how to make that diagnosis. (http://techauto.tripod.com/mainrelaydefine.htm)
I am open to everything, I am to be on the road (400 mile trip) tomorrow, and I need to be sure that it will restart after I get a new tank of gas!
Thanks so much to the insight.
