Default typeR oil filler cap, chrome or no?

ok i'm just tidying up my engine by in my hatch,
and i have alot of polished pieces in there,
and a faded plastic oil cap.. so I figure i'll swap it out for a chrome/polished one.

now they sell these on jhpusa for 35bux before shipping,

but acuraautomotiveparts only wants 8bucks for it.
SO what i'm wondering from you guys, is if I order it from acuraautomotive parts
will I just get a black plastic one or a chrome/polished one?

thanks.

The chrome is JDM exclusive kind of deal. I have an extra black oil filler cap. $5 shipped and it's yours. LMK. I just took it off recently cuz I put on a chrome JDM one.

I had the chrome one as well, and quickly got rid of it due to the reason above.

Why not just an aluminum cap of your choice?

It's an upgrade to the stock plastic one that have failed before on a rare occasion under high crank case pressures...

If you got the itch to replace it, might as well upgrade it....

Just my 0.02.

Those OEM Honda JDM CTR/ITR ones are still plastic...just with a chrome overlay on top of it.
