do they get the same reading?
do they get the same reading?
Why do that...just go to a regular parts store Advance...Auto Zone....They have each of the o2 sensors....I'm sure they may be the same sensor but they are 2 different part #'s....Its your call though....
They are not the same.... For some reason the secondary O2 reads slower than the Primary... You can use the Primary in either but you cannot use the secondary one as your primary.... It screws the ecu all up.... Try it and you'll see....
Bone stock 99 Civic Cx - D16Y7: Been running the 2nd O2 as my primary for around 20k miles now (and it started life in my car with a supposed 20-25k on it already) - my *** doesn't notice the difference nor does my gas tank. My *** and gas tank do notice a difference when an O2 has about 60-70k miles on it though - so I've got a 'reference'.
I've also got an OBD2 scanner and check my fuel trim values pretty regularly and they're consistent with what they were when I bought the car...soooo...
