The A pipe bracket in front of the O2 keeps breaking off from my Greddy header, causing a rattle noise.. I have no idea why it keeps snapping.

Anyone else have this problem?

Do I really need the bracket, or can I just saw it off?

its a 92 prelude with H22a swap.

 

do you have a flexpipe?

you don't need it per se, but the bracket keeps a lot of stress off of the header where it bolts into the block.
