Default what should happen if iacv is disconnected??

if the iacv is working, when disconnecting it the rpms should drop right?? if they drop this means that the iacv is working. if the iacv is disconnected and the rpms do not drop then this means that iacv is bad then, right??...correct me if im wrong.

it would cause a bad idle. I been running without mine connected for about 6 months. I just raised my idle a lil bit.

well my idling is fucked up to begin with. i am throwing a code 14(iacv). what should happen if i disconnect the iacv. shouldnt i be able to hear my rpms go down?? assuming that my iacv is already bad, if i disconnect it then nothing should happen to my idle right??

well, i actually plugged mine in one day and it made the idle worse because the valve is stuck. You can hear it NOT working, lol.
