Default Low Oil Pressure Light

I have a question regarding my low oil pressure light. It is briefly coming on for about 3 seconds each time i'm on a slight decline and slow down to a stop.

I've recently had my head gasket replaced and also the oil pan gasket, but I don't think i'm losing any oil. I need to check the oil level, but I'm not sure if a sensor is going or if I have a serious problem.

has anybody had a similar problem or does anyone have any advice??

I'd suggest checking the oil level.

Next, check the sending unit to make sure the wire/plug is securely attached. (located right above the oil filter on the rear side of the block.)

Then check the oil pickup line to see if it was damaged while the oil pan gasket was being replaced.

If that's not the cause, I'd get the oil pump replaced promptly.
