Clutches
First thank you all for reading and giving advice.
I have a 96 civic coupe and the TOB is going so I figured I would replace the clutch, TOB, IB and axles (clunking under load).
I was looking at getting an Exedy organic and a Pro Stree Flywheel.

I dont have a lot of money right now and was thinking of getting this ebay clutch from GRIPFORCE ... it is an F1 Racing Clutch ... it suppost to be made by the same person that founded Clutchmaster ....
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33732
I was wondering if anyone had used this F1 clutch before and what your thoughts are of it?
I also was told that because I want to put a Greddy D series Turbo on the car that I shouldnt use the exedy organic and should use either a 4 or 6 puck clutch if I am going to go FI.......
Thank you everyone.

only thing I am worried about is ... I am going to go FI and I have heard the Exedy Organic wont hold up to Boost ...... and that I need a 4 or 6 puck .....

That is a 6-puck, and I imagine a demonically tight pressure plate. Unless you track or drag a ton, I'd recommend against it. It's not impossible to daily drive a 6-puck, and at least it's sprung, but I don't think you'll like it much. I've never heard of the brand, which doesn't mean it sucks, but it doesn't mean it's good either. I'd say keep looking around. The Exedy organic clutch is good unless you're running a ton of extra power.
The pressure plate determines how much power it can hold moreso than the clutch disc. So you can use an organic disc with a good pressure plate.

I am planning to keep the D16y8 and putting the greddy D series turbo kit on and at the most going up to 8psi for a daily driver ..... so 128hp + 60hp gain on the greddy kit at 6 psi = 188 FWHP ..... 8psi once I get the adjustible BOV would put it about 200 FWHP ..... add an inner cooler and it puts it at about 220 FWHP
That is what my setup will be engine wize ......

from what i heard N/a cars need a stronger clutch than boosted cars. I am not sure why this would hold true. But my friend is running a ACT HDSS clutch on his b16 with a Full race turbo kit and it holds perfectly fine. I bought a exedy stage 1 and a exedy flywheel off ebay for 354$ shipped to hawaii i think his name is "Clutchcity online" or something like that great clutch

the exedy clutch and pro street flywheel work good for me too! a buddy with a boosted em1 has the same setup on his 250hp and his holds up too. i think as long as your not beating on it all day everyday it will be fine for moderate boost. good luck!
