89 civic hatchback
manual, 182,000 miles
I need help big time..my very loyal civic which i have had since 1996 has betrayed me in the last few weeks...at first it wouldnt crank..sprayed some throttle intake cleaner in the carburater it fired up as long as i kept spraying it...so i changed the fuel pump..brand new..it fires right up..drive it for 2 days then doesnt wanna start again..i change the fuel filter ..it starts right up..drive for 2 days and then the same thing again...now it seems like it starts when its cooler outside...but once the temp. go up it doesnt wanna crank..by the way i also changed the main relay...please help...i am thinking it could be the fuel pressure regulator or fuel relay ..i dont know...any help would be appreciated..

 

i had a problem too. check ur main relay under ur dash in the car by the left door
